Who is Nico Bailey?

Nico Bailey is a Pushcart Prize-nominated queer and trans literary-fiction writer from New Jersey with an M.F.A. in Writing from the University of New Hampshire as well as a B.A. in English and Political Science. She mainly writes about queer and trans women.

While writing and submitting fiction for publication, Nico also likes to write short essays ranging from analytic to personal, usually about the book she’s reading or a current event she has insight into, and A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Fem is the perfect place for her to publish them and for you to see ’em!
